my fave things spread
I know a lot of artists share this fascination but I just love old run down buildings, old windows and doors. They have so much history and seem to tell a story in and of themselves. I had a much harder time starting with a visual rather than words for some reason. Maybe I think more in words than pictures. I kept adding layers and sanding them off and used some magazine clippings that appealed to me. I put the words on the stair steps to relate to the little boy in the doorway and the bottom step says SAFETY. Not sure how it all goes together, but also like the idea of doorways and windows to other worlds etc. TFL!
