Returning Home second page
Says: I had to leave home to find myself and in the process I found my soul mate. He was a country mouse and I am a city mouse. First we moved to the country and made a home for ourselves. Then I brought him back to the city and he loves it. We make our home wherever we are with our kids and cats. I now live just miles from the home in which i grew up but it’s like being in a different world. I am a much different person than i was as a child. I am happy now and allowed to be myself. A home is not four walls, it’s a place where you can feel safe being yourself. I like seeing the familiar plants and trees and smells. I see it so differently now. It used to be a place I wanted to escape from. I never imagined I would ever com eback here, but here I am. I only appreciate it now that I left it. I don’t know if we’ll stay here forever, but for right now in this moment, we are happy”
