There's no place like HOME

Following the prompt, I got some inspiration from Eliza Badurina in creating my “house”.

This is the week that God showed up for me. The quote by St. Augustine just kept popping into my head when I thought of “Home” and “going Home”.

Augustine says, “You have made us for yourself, O Lord. And our hearts are restless until they find their rest (home) in You.

Dorothy from Oz visited me too. She says, “If I ever go looking for my heart’s desire again, I won’t look any further than my OWN BACKYARD. Because if it isn’t there, I never really lost it to begin with.

The photo is me on my 50th birthday, almost two years ago now. I have no techniques to share as I let PaperWerx papers do all the cool stuff for me. Well, I did use my incredible black marker from American Crafts to “stain-glass” my page.

Thanks for looking, Jane Swanson
