Day 3
Wow – really zipping along here (LOL). Channeling a little (OK, a lot!) of Ali E here. I loved the page she did last year with the cutouts and the pictures peeking through.
Thanks for looking!

I have hidden journaling behind my picture today. Music
is very important in my life, I sing everyday. Christmas
music is dear to most people. I have found that most of
the people I sing for at the Nursing and Retirement Centers
remember words to Christmas Carols when they remember
little else. It makes them so happy when they find those
words.
I can’t pick just one song as a favorite, so I included several.
For O Holy Night, I thought it needed a picture, so I put
a picture of our first Nativity set. We still have it out every
year and it is very special to me. We bought it the first
Christmas we were married 51 years ago.

I cheated todaya nd did the page early (My blog explains why)
I loved the chance to write about Christmas music.

Labelled day 7 as I stuck everything down then realised I had the holes at the wrong side!
I have only used 1 memory but put 2 the good and bad of the day in the journaling.
Quite a different style for me.
These last 2 pages are side by side and are different to the others which are more oldy worldy looking but i think it gives the journal a lift.
Still got some catching up to do and am out for the next 3 nights!!!

I have labelled this page 6 because i stuck the real page 6 down and realised I had the holes at the wrong side!!!
I haven’t used evidence of shopping as I hadn’t started!!!
Did use pictures from M&S magazine though.Still have jouranlling to write on the tags but haven’t decided what i want to do either feelings or what I buy for people as reference for next year, might do both.

I made little packages all alike to represent the gifts
to my family. I love giving gifts to my children and grandchildren
In fact I get carried away sometimes. They are all so good,
I feel they deserve lots of gifts. On Christmas Eve they come
to Grandma’s house and open their gifts, so they can be home
to open the gifts from Santa. We always let the youngest
child that can read the names pass out the gifts. They get
slow then everyone gets involved, it’s fun.

These are days 10 – 13 for my journal. All pages including the album are digital.
Please take a look at my blog for the credits, the journaling, and more views including close-ups.

Tonight is my night with no time so I have done a quick and simple (very quick – only half an hour which is a record for me) page
Details as usual on the blog
Scrapdolly’s blog
I took this photo especially and loved it so decided to make it the whole page and included a smaller picture of the whole tree.
I used the bauble hanger on the tag, bending it round and secured with an eyelet.
Journaling on the tag explains how we bought this tree after we extended and had the room for a large one, and hsa over 800 led lights.I bought the baubles in Bruges a few years ago when I went with my mam to the Christas markets and had the lady in the shop taking them off the display! Unfortunately I’m down to 2 as the others have got broken, they are very delicate., but at least I have a lovely photo and journal about them!
Sorry about the wonky scan it is straight IRL
